FAQs

How does the free design service work?

To use our free design service, just email (quoting your order number) to sales@nottinghamprinting.com any details/text that will help us create your artwork.  Also please send us any images/photos you would like on your design, don’t worry if you don’t have any, we have access to a database of over 25 million photos and vector images that we can use to create your perfect design.  We will set up a sample and email this to you,  we will then work on the design with you until you are 100% happy with your artwork so we can go to print.  All designs are kept on file, for reprints if required.

Is my artwork okay?

If supplying your own artwork, please see our document preparation guide on the right.  This explains how to supply your artwork with a 3mm bleed, in CMYK format and in a minimum of 300dpi in resolution.

Can I have a proof?

We supply a JPG proof of all designed artwork before we go to print, we then make alterations to the design until you are happy with it.  Please make sure any supplied proof copies are checked thoroughly for spelling errors, number errors, or errors in design and layout. Any mistakes in text or images untraced before printing will be your responsibility and there will be a charge for re-printing.

Tell me about delivery options and prices?

We use APC next working day courier service for deliveries to mainland UK. All orders before 9am will go out the same working day for a next day delivery. These are charged on a weight basis starting at £5 for orders up to 1KG in weight, 1-5KG are charged at £6 and 5-20KG are charged at £8, orders over 20KG are charged at £10.  Please contact us for quotations on deliveries outside the mainland UK

Uploading artwork

You can upload your artwork if required at the checkout stage of your order.  You are also welcome to email your artwork to sales@nottinghamprinting.com quoting your order number.
